Giant Panda

Panda commission. I researched pandas for this illustration and I enjoyed finding out more about them. Giant pandas are up to 1.6m long and weigh up to 180kg. Still to this day very little is known about giant pandas and they live in remote parts of China. There are also red pandas, which I was unaware of. Zoologists put giant pandas in the same family (procyonidae) as raccoons, although there are great differences between the two. I like drawing animals and hope to draw them more in the future.
