Thulsa Doom Progress

"Let me tell you of the days of high adventure!"....This is a post to show some of my process in creating the illustration of Thulsa Doom from the Conan movie. Swipe left to see the progress. I'm taking a lot more time these days to create each piece of artwork because I am paying more attention to adding detail, linework, and texture. Also, when using inks, factoring in drying time means creating the artwork takes longer. I feel all of this extra effort is ultimately worth it though with the finished product. I'm going to add the white inks to this drawing now and I'll post the end result later.
