Let's go Dodgers!

For one of my future art projects, I plan to create a series of mixed media drawings, or maybe paintings, based on scenes from LA. Whilst I'm currently in the City of Angels, I am visiting various locations to find inspiration for the new art series. One of the places I have visited is the LA Dodgers Stadium in Downtown LA, to watch a baseball game between the LA Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants.

I would definitely say it's one of the most American experiences I've ever had. There was very much a rad party atmosphere at the Stadium. They were also playing real cool retro music at the baseball game, such as West Coast Hip Hop, which I was bopping along to haha.

I'm going to be continuing to search out interesting scenes in Los Angeles to illustrate, and I plan to focus on the Art Deco architecture of the City, but seeing a baseball game at the LA Dodgers Stadium has certainly been an inspiration for me.

Although I don't know a lot about baseball, I still enjoyed watching the game. LA Dodgers were clearly a stronger team and they won. I felt a bit sorry for the San Francisco Giants, but they still had good innings.
