I'm currently working on various art projects during the same time frame. This means I sometimes get side tracked from ideas I have. However, I've now made progress setting up an area for developing a large 2 metre tall illustration.

After considering for a while which character I'd like to draw at this scale, I've decided to illustrate the City Hunter from the 1990 film Predator 2. I was going to use the door as an easel, but the sheet of custom sized paper is too big, so I've switched over to working on the wall.

I'll be posting regular updates on how this art project is going, and I hope the artwork will end up looking both gnarly and radical, both at the same time.

For motivation and inspiration, I'll be working alongside the action figures of Mantenna and Leech from MOTU, as well as Jackalman from ThunderCats.

The 2004 film AVP movie poster is the backdrop to the studio area.
