Joseph of Arimathea

To celebrate Easter, I want to make some Christian themed posts. This is a mixed media illustration of Saint Joseph of Arimathea which I created mainly with oil pastels. Joseph of Arimathea was an influential person in Ancient Israel and he was a member of the Sanhedrin.

I sent out this illustration earlier in the week and today it successfully arrived at a location close to Newcastle upon Tyne, in the North of England. I've had great feedback about the artwork and I was told the artwork looks even better in real life.
