Dinobots

At the end of today, the Dinobots make an appearance in the artwork. From top to bottom, we see the Dinobots Swoop, Sludge, and Snarl. The size of the artwork is approx 59cm by 84cm. I wanted to make one big piece of art for this project and fill it with loads of detail. My idea is to make the piece look like a double page spread from a 1988 comic. I'm drawing on a large piece of smooth MDF, cut and bought from B and Q. High quality drawing tables are amazing, but it just shows that they aren't needed to make illustrations. I managed to get around 7 Transformers drawn today, which is pretty good going. I'm going to chill now and watch a film. I have thus far gone through a black marker drawing this. I'm thinking it's great practice doing such intensive drawing. I'll be taking my time with this piece, but hopefully this time next week it will be completed.
