Windsor Castle

Another piece of artwork which has been sent out to Tunbridge Wells in Kent, UK. This artwork was created using watercolours on high quality watercolour paper, and then chalk pastels to add extra details. I created this painting to study depth perception. I made Windsor Castle in the background look very faint to give a greater sense of depth. This painting was also an exercise to get more familiar with watercolours. I won't be seeing artwork like this again so I like to post it on Instagram as a record of the artwork. My main purpose for sending out artwork like this is to get my art out of my folders and into new homes where they will be framed up.
