I'm currently working on a team game project with Dwarven Shroud Studios, and the game is a FPS horror survival game called 'Shroud'. I've been developing a ZBrush sculpt of a Wraith Skeleton, which will be an enemy within the game. This is a rough sculpt, and the purpose of making it is to get an initial version of the character into the game for Demo Day, taking place next week on Tuesday.
With this ZBrush sculpt I've been learning more about using Live Boolean. I was aware of this method previously, but I only feel like I've grasped the technique whilst making this sculpt. Also, recently my Character Art Tutors have explained how to create VDM brushes in ZBrush, and I found this to be a very useful approach to creating the horns on the skull.
I would say my main inspirations for this character design are the Skeletons in the 1963 film 'Jason and the Argonauts', and the 1994 cartoon called 'Skeleton Warriors'. In the future, I plan to add more detailing to the armour of the Wraith Skeleton, but for the time being, it's really a placeholder to help the Programmer and Animator in the team.
