The Guyver: Bio-Booster Armour

"Life, an infinite energy beyond scientific understanding. Now, this energy has been transformed into a new weapon." - Intro to 'The Guyver' anime cartoon, UK version.

I post this drawing of 'The Guyver: Bio-Booster Armour' as part of my Junetoon 2024. I added colour to this illustration using both Promarkers and Graph'it markers. A layer of splattered Indian ink was also added with a toothbrush to give the drawing a subtle layer of texture.

It was great to return to complete this illustration because I feel the colour develops the artwork a lot.

I'm always keen to infuse a manga anime style into my artwork. I would consider myself as a beginner novice when it comes to learning about anime and manga, but slowly but surely, I'm finding out more about good quality manga anime. I currently have Volume 1 of Full Metal Alchemist to watch, and another anime I am looking forward to seeing is Attack on Titan.
