An American Werewolf in London

When I was growing up, my local newsagents used to sell the latest movies on VHS, and the VHS covers back then were both gnarly and radical. Some of the titles I distinctly remember seeing from that time were films such as 'Terminator 2', 'California Man' (Encino Man in the USA)...and 'An American Werewolf in London'.

I found the poster art for 'An American Werewolf in London' to be disturbing, and yet I wondered what the film was about, because it looked highly '80s. Furthermore, London at that time was a mysterious enigma to me, where Doctor Jekyll lived, and this only increased my intrigue at the poster art.

This is a customised envelope I created for 'An American Werewolf in London' themed art delivery which I sent out earlier today to Braintree in Essex. It was a lot of fun to finally get around to creating artwork based on the original film poster.

I'd like to thank the people of Essex who have supported my artwork, because I seem to get a lot of interest in my art from this UK county.
