The Incredible Hulk WIP Illustration

A close up of the Incredible Hulk WIP mixed media illustration. I have now added a third layer of acrylic paints to this illustration, applying further yellow and brown colours. I used to work a lot with acrylic paints where I would blend the paint when it was in a viscous form. These days I like to water down the acrylic paints to build up the layers and colours. I find this method of using watered down acrylic paints is a great technique for developing interesting skin textures, through the use of translucent layers.
