This is the second version of the moth I've created for the game I'm currently making with Mothship Studios. The whole team of 6 members have been working hard on the project and both a programmer and game designer are effectively applying the moth to the gameplay. The game will be on display at the Falmouth University Expo in May and if you would like to play as this heroic moth, the Expo will be open for about a week, all are welcome. This years Falmouth University Game Expo will mark the 10th anniversary of the Games Academy so it will be a big occasion, and I'm looking forward to meeting games industry professionals at one of the biggest events of its kind. The idea behind this second variation of the moth is to have the character change colour, maybe through a power up or a change of speed in the game. Whilst painting this moth I was referencing a type known as the Luna Moth, and I really like the green, purple, and pink colouring. It's interesting to look back at the first orange variant of the moth I created, because I feel I've become more comfortable with using the cintiq to paint between the first and second versions. The marks look more subtle for this moth.
