Lately I've been told some excellent news by Doug over at @draw_for_change. It turns out that Washington State University have been following and taken an active interest in the work which Draw For Change is doing. Throughout 2021 there will be a series of events held by Washington State University to spotlight Draw For Change and showcase the artwork of the Artists involved. This will be an amazing opportunity to further highlight the great causes which DFC upholds. Congratulations and all credit to Doug Standish and the brilliant Artists involved. As for myself, well I'm a punk, dork Englishman who enjoys drawing mutants, so I'm just happy to be included. From a Christian perspective I'm hyped to be able to continue helping towards charitable causes and the giving of alms is an aspect of my Christian sojourn I'd like to develop more. From an artistic perspective I'm excited because the Washington State University campus will give the DFC Artists a chance to work on a bigger scale than they have done in previous DFC events. I'm very much a firm believer that genuine art can be used as a force for good in this cynical and jaded world and @draw_for_change 100% proves this potential. In a way, it doesn't surprise me that WSU has taken an interest in DFC because I can't think of many efforts like this which exist. The Washington State University has close ties to various universities along the West Coast of the United States so I'm sure this will be a positive step in the progress of DFC.
