David Lo Pan

"This is Jack Burton in the Porkchop Express and I'm talking to whoever is listening out there."

- A quote from one of the initial scenes in the 1986 film Big Trouble in Little China.

Here is the latest update on the WIP mixed media illustration of the ten foot tall roadblock himself, also known as David Lo Pan.

Thus far, I've added a layer of Liquitex acrylics, and a layer of Sennelier ink. I plan on adding further layers of acrylic paints to refine the colours. At the moment, I like the sense of lighting in the illustration, and I'd like to maintain this aspect moving forward.
