Merman WIP

This term I've been asked to create a portfolio piece for my GAR208 module, and I've decided to make a ZBrush sculpt of Merman inspired by the Filmation Heman MOTU cartoon. I'll be taking Merman through the full character workflow and these screenshots show the WIP. Due to the high 80s octane and gangsta nature of this Heman character, I'll be listening to a carefully selected hip hop playlist of retro tunes as I work. My goal is to take this classic 80s aquatic Merman and bring him into 2024 through using modern software such as ZBrush and Substance Painter.
