"From the dawn of time we came, moving silently down through the centuries, living many secret lives, struggling to reach the time of the gathering, when the few who remain, will battle to the last...Noone has ever known we were among you...Until now." This is a watercolour illustration I have made in my sketchbook of the car park scene from the 1986 movie Highlander. The purpose for creating this painting is to study atmospheric and dramatic locations. I'm really enjoying developing as a watercolour artist and this was my first attempt at using masking fluid.
