Ming the Merciless

The mixed media illustration of Ming the Merciless is now complete. This illustration featured on a customised envelope, that I'm using to send out artwork to Australia.

Aspects of this artwork which I think are working well are the retro 1950s science fiction aesthetic, the bold graphic look, and the airbrushed art style. Ming the Merciless is the main villain in the 1985 cartoon called Defenders of the Earth, and it's the first time I've drawn the character.
