The Fog

The Fog. Smash the like button of you think John Carpenter is a legend. Inktober day 22, prompt word ghost....I absolutely love the versatility of using inks. This is my third Inktober and yet the first time I've used ink washes during the event. However, I used to use ink washes a lot during my first year of my degree. Inks are currently my primary method of illustrating. I love how with inks you can achieve hard accuracy or loose and atmospheric. I definitely plan to use ink washes more in my artwork. I rewatched The Fog again this year and it's now a go to Jonathan film for me. His films, among many others things, successfully demonstrate how great practical special effects can be. I'd certainly recommend seeing this Jonathan film if you haven't already.
