Continuing on with my Junetoon 2023, here is a drawing of the ghost called Samhain, who features in the 1986 cartoon 'The Real Ghostbusters'. When researching this animation, I've realised how absolutely cray cray these plots are to the episodes. Samhain is the Ghost of Halloween, who has his origins in 7th century Ireland, the home of the Samhain festival, which later becomes Halloween. The ghost Samhain gets imprisoned in an ancient Irish stone clock, which then finds its way to New York centuries later, and is opened up by two of his goblin minions...obviously. Samhain then goes on a rampage in New York City, attempting to use his midnight army of ghosts to bring about an eternal Halloween night, only to be stopped by the Ghostbusters.
