Museum Photos

Today I had a brilliant time at the V & A Museum in London and these are a selection of photos I took whilst there. After careful consideration, I think that the V & A is the best gallery/museum in London, by far. The layout of the Museum is great, the space has a calm and airy feel to it, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The museum itself sports a staggering 9 miles of corridors and today I barely scratched the surface of the content there. I managed to go on an hour long tour hosted by a former museum curator who is very knowledgeable. Something I learned is that a Victorian art style exists called 'Gothic Revival' which I really like. Another thing I learnt is that the Great Bed of Ware, seen photographed, was so famous that Shakespeare mentions the bed in his story called 'The Twelfth Night'.
