Bruno the Staffie WIP

Bruno the staffie dog. WIP. Pencil on Windsor and Newton stretched cotton canvas. The canvas size is 22 x 16 inches. These are the pencils for the oil painting I'm doing. I was considering going directly in with the paint, but decided for increased detail and improved layout to go in first with pencil. I think both methods could have effectively worked, but I think the pencil method was best for this piece of artwork.
