Cornish Woodwose

This is the first submission I'm making to be considered for a forthcoming Cornish folklore book being created by @darkcornwall . It is an illustration of a Cornish Woodwose, which is described as a Wildman of the Forest. This being would be the Cornish version of a Sasquatch, Grassman, or Bigfoot.

The completed illustration is mixed media art, and it was created using a Uni-Ball fineliner, Sennelier Indian ink, and Aero Color Professional ink. The scene features a mossy Cornish ravine and some standing stones.

Today I worked for about three hours on my Artist Statement, which will accompany my entries, and I wrote 1161 words for it. I'm happy to have now entered the artwork into the art competiton.

Tomorrow I'll be posting the second illustration which I'm entering to be considered for the Cornish folklore book.
