SpeedTree

This evening I used the software SpeedTree for the first time and I make this post as the latest update for my entry to the The Rookies Monthly Art Challenge. Recently I've been stepping out of my comfort zone to begin using software I haven't used before. I can definitely say that I really enjoyed using SpeedTree.

I had to book a specific time to use one of the machines at uni which has SpeedTree installed, which meant my time using it was relatively limited. However, I did manage to make an oak tree, an oak tree sapling, and low ground foliage for my project. Over the past few weeks I've been listening to accounts of the 1955 Kentucky Goblin incident, and I feel this variety of vegetation for the setting should make it look more interesting. I plan to take these 3D assets into Unreal Engine 5 to set up the scene.
