That's what I love about media created back in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. They weren't messing around, no games, they just dropped it on the audience.

The Indian ink has now been applied to this illustration. The next stage is to add Daler Rowney Aquafine watercolour white ink to create a greater sense of depth to the drawing.
