David 'Greedo' Bowie

"I....I wish I could swim....Like dolphins....Like dolphins can swim." - David 'Greedo' Bowie. Ok, so this post is going to need some explaining. I'm part of the DFC Art Collective. We're a bit like the X-Men, only Artists. The idea was formulated to do an art exchange with other DFC Artists from around the world for Christmas which I think is a fun idea. Each Artist had 2 prompts pulled out of a hat to base their artwork on. The prompts I had are Greedo from Star Wars, and any album cover. This illustration is of Greedo as David Bowie on the album cover for Heroes. I'm glad to say that Greedo Bowie now exists in the world. I created this using marker on paper, and then I used ink and a toothbrush, almost like an airbrush to get a variation in tone. Off this goes tomorrow to @drvalenciadesigns in South Carolina.
