Winchester School of Art

Over a week ago I went to the open day at Southampton Uni, and the talk for game design took place at the Winchester School of Art, which is the artistic wing for the university. I first visited Winchester School of Art in 2002 for an interview, and after almost 20 years, it was interesting to me that the university hadn't changed much. It still maintained its core conceptual principles, such as promoting free thinking and not putting one's mind in a box. I can respect this. Founded in 1870, I think WSA is a very cool place and the uni seems to take its mindset to be very important. I can respect this. I had a fascinating time when I attended the lecture theatre for a presentation and I found it intriguing observing the different course structures for not only game design, but the various other courses as well. I learnt a lot more about game design after this experience.
