Green and Brown Butterfly Complete

This is the fourth and final completed butterfly, created using a digital drawing tablet, for the @draw_for_change Washington State University mural project. I'm really happy that I decided to go digital for the first time to create the artwork for this project. If anyone wants to learn how to illustrate using a digital drawing tablet, then I would certainly recommend drawing butterflies as a useful exercise because you end up using most of the available tools on the drawing software. This combination of colours for a butterfly is my favourite out of the four. I've been working on this project for over a month now and when I have told my friends that I'm drawing butterflies, I've been getting a lot of people's eyebrows in response. The truth is, from carrying out this project I've begun to appreciate more fully what amazing creatures butterflies are, and some of the colours and patterns on them are jaw droppingly incredible.
