Rawhead Rex

Mors gradicur metuens quid ipse numquam fieri possit. This is the Latin inscription on the stain glass window in the film Rawhead Rex 1986. The translation of this Latin means death goes in fear of what it cannot be. This drawing is of Rawhead Rex when he first breaks out of the ground. I recently tried to find a copy of the original book published in 1976, but the cheapest copy I could find was still very expensive because it is out of print. Usual scenerio. I find the Liverpudlian author Clive Barker rather intriguing. Various aspects of Rawhead Rex are interesting, such as it being set in Ireland.
