- A quote from Uncle Chu in the 1986 film Big Trouble in Little China.

This is a WIP illustration of David Lo Pan from the movie Big Trouble in Little China. I find the dialogue from Uncle Chu in the film to be ominous, enigmatic, and striking.

The inspiration for this illustration is @billsienkiewiczart and his use of negative space in artwork. It's perhaps counter intuitive, but the more confidence and ability an Artist has, the more they will be able to leave empty space on their artwork. I've been actively using the idea of negative space in this illustration of David Lo Pan.
