Darth Revan

This month I'm taking part in Julyfy. For those unfamiliar with Julyfy, it's an event organised by @tonycartoonish, where Artists throughout the world create artwork inspired by science fiction during the month of July.

I'm currently using the start of my Julyfy to make the customised envelopes for the free art giveaway I'm running. Here is a drawing of the Star Wars Sith called Darth Revan, and I'm glad to get around to drawing this character again.

This illustration was made using a Uniball fineliner, Posca Paint Markers, and Windsor and Newton ink applied with a toothbrush for the splatter effect. When applying ink in this way, it usually gets really messy. The ink has a mind of its own, and I kind of just roll with this factor. I used this Darth Revan illustration as a way to study lighting.
