Onslaught

I'm going Monk....I gotta go Monk....Ice cool baby. To those new followers of mine on Instagram and Artstation, welcome, and I thought I'd say that not only do I create artwork, but I also collect retro action figures. I find the figures inspire my art and they are closely connected. I'm a generalist retro action figure collector, but recently I've been focusing on G1 Transformers figures. The latest addition to my collection is Onslaught, who is the leader of the Combaticons combiner. To give you an idea of how cool Onslaught is, I was considering buying a complete Grimlock, but went for Onslaught instead. He is that cool. Combiners are some of my favourite Transformers, with Devastator being one of the best. However, the Combaticons are my favourite overall. The Combaticons are all heavy duty military vehicles. When the Combaticons combine they form Bruticus. More importantly, Onslaught is a very rare Transformer indeed. I've been looking for a complete figure of Onslaught in good condition for months. This one comes complete with all the extras to form Bruticus, so I'm pleased to have purchased this. It's tough though because there are so many awesome G1 Transformers I'd like to add to my collection. My plan is to get hold of the leaders of the combiners, which are the most difficult to find, and then work backwards buying the smaller members. My Transformers collection is developing nicely so I'm happy about that.
