Pirates! In an Adventure With Scientists

In 2011 and 2012 I had the opportunity to work at Aardman Animations on the stop frame animation feature film 'Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists', directed by @petelordaardman. This is a memento which all of the crew were given. I had previously worked on a Disney funded TV series called 'Timmy Time', and it was noticeable to see how much of a step up animated feature film work is. The work done on 'Timmy Time' is exceptionally good, but with a feature film the animators are given far more time to animate each second. Also, the stop frame animation film sets are a lot bigger, with loads of attention to detail. Although I have now moved into creating game art, I can see that my artwork is still heavily influenced by stop frame animation.
