Life Drawing

This is a portrait I drew today in my life drawing class at Falmouth University. I created this using compressed charcoal and it took me about 45 mins. I think using charcoal, both willow and compressed, is my new favourite drawing method. The life drawing tutor saw today that I'm interested in portraiture and he recommended that I go and see the Lucian Freud exhibition at the National Gallery in London.
