Aerialbot Leader Silverbolt

This evening I'm taking a short timeout from drawing to return to my Transformers G1 collection. Today I added this G1 Aerialbot Autobot Concorde leader called Silverbolt complete with all accessories and instructions. I have been collecting generation 1 Transformers for nearly 6 months now and in the process, I've been researching the cartoon, the characters, and toyline more. I love the Autobots, and the Dinobots are rad, but I can definitely say that some of my favourite discoveries are the various Transformers combiners. These are characters who are a number of robots which combine into one giant robot. The Aerialbots combine to form the impressive Superion, who often fights the other combiner called Menasor, which is the combination of the Stunticons Decepticons. The additional parts to Superion come with this Aerialbot leader. I want to be patient and build my Transformers G1 collection slowly. Only problem is there are too many awesome Transformers to choose from. My plan is to start off acquiring the leaders of each of the combiners, and then work backwards getting the smaller robots of the team.
