Jawa

Jawa WIP. Colours now added to the artwork. Keeping in line with the scale of the other 3 pieces of @draw_for_change Star Wars artwork, this illustration is around a metre in height. To colour this artwork I used a Posca paint marker, and a pot of Daler Rowney FW acrylic ink, flame orange colour. It's interesting how watercolours and inks like this have different qualities. I love this ink. I have to say when I was considering which smaller Star Wars character I wanted to draw, I was thinking about Yoda, or an Ewok, but I went with a Jawa because I had a supply of the right ink colour. I'll hopefully be darkening the orange ink later with black ink splattered with a toothbrush. I'm off now for my Friday night run and then I'll return to the drawing later this evening.
