I'm happy to say that for the initial GAR105 environment art module on my BA (Hons) Game Art course I achieved a first. I found out last night that I scored a mark of 71 and to gain a first you need to get over 70 out of a hundred. The main programme used for environment art is Maya and before I started the course I had little experience using the software. I can say the 3 individual projects within the module were a real challenge to me but after finding out my grade I can say the hard work was well worth it. My goal now is to maintain the effort I'm putting in and improve on my marking score.
