Drawing Tablet

After a year of contemplation, I've decided to specialise in character art in second year of my BA Game Art course. To kick things off as I mean to carry on, I have purchased a new drawing tablet to help me focus. Obviously talent is very important regarding the creation of art, but I also think that kit, attitude, mentality, and branding can be key as well. When I was growing up, I used to play Sunday league football/soccer as a central defender every week from ages 8 to 16. I remember that the best team in the league were the Congresbury Colts, and they would always roll up to games dressed in immaculate kit, fully united as a team, and the best boots money could buy. Imagine how the Purple Cobras arrive in the movie Dodgeball, that was them. When they turned up, I would be on the touchline and turn to my friend. At exactly the same time, we would both say to each other "Oh no, they look good". Consistently, the Congresbury Colts would defeat our team. I played for Clevedon Town FC and we were a decent team with quality players, but the reason why the Congresbury Colts would beat us down each time was because they had the psychological edge. I'm all about cooperation instead of competition, and this post is directly related to morale and having the right mentality. I dedicate this drawing tablet to the Congresbury Colts team of the '90s, and I thank them for teaching me that kit and mindset does matter. #xppen #decopro #decopromedium #drawingtablet #digitaldrawing #characterart #characterartist #characterdesign #characterdesigner #zbrush #zbrushsculpt #zbrushart #zbrushcentral #zbrushmodel #zbrushmodeling #sculpt #sculptures #sculpting #marvel #marvelcomic #marvelcomics #comic #comics #comicbook #comicart #movie #movies #film #films #draw
