Ventress

Ventress commission WIP. The dimensions of this artwork are approx 42cm by 60cm and I am working on paper. I'm using Pentel oil pastels to colour this illustration. The reason for this is because I want to get a variety of vibrant colours. It's an absolute pleasure to be using oil pastels again because they are a great art material. I managed to get over an hours work in today on this piece which I'm happy with. At this stage the illustration is still quite loose, and I'll be taking my time with the artwork this week, tightening up the overall drawing. The colours I've used so far are dark reddish brown, red, crimson lake, green grey, sky blue, Indian red, hyacinth violet, grey, and black. As you can tell, Pentel has quite a selection of colours.
