The Phantom WIP

"By my jungle birthright, I call upon the power, of ten tigers!" - The Phantom in the 1985 cartoon 'Defenders of the Earth'. I think 'Defenders of the Earth' was probably one of my most watched Saturday morning cartoons, and when the Ghost Who Walks called upon the power of ten tigers, things got real. This is a WIP drawing of the Phantom, and I've now made the first colour pass using watercolours and acrylic paints. At this stage, I was deliberately trying to be as loose as possible with the colours. I covered the canvas with water, and then let the colours bleed into one another.
